Carrier monitoring for freight brokers

Know before you dispatch.

Upload your carrier list once. AuthorityWatch watches the official FMCSA record daily — operating authority, insurance filings and cancellations, safety ratings, out-of-service orders — and emails you the same day anything changes on a carrier you use. No dashboard to babysit. No black-box scores. Every alert links to the federal source record.

Three minutes to covered.

FMCSA enforcement moved: carriers now lose the right to run via involuntary suspension, not the revocation list your vetting routine watches. We diff the federal datasets daily so you don't have to know that.

STEP 1

Upload your carriers

Paste DOT/MC numbers or drop a CSV in the portal. 250 on Starter, 1,000 on Pro. Two minutes, done.

STEP 2

We watch the record

Authority status, insurance filings and cancellations, safety ratings, out-of-service orders, registration changes — checked against official FMCSA data, daily and intraday.

STEP 3

You get the email that matters

Severe changes are double-confirmed before we send. Monday's digest confirms what didn't change. Silence, made visible.

Straight answers.

Where does the data come from?

Official FMCSA datasets published on the U.S. DOT open-data portal: carrier registration, operating-authority history, insurance filings and cancellations, and out-of-service orders. Every alert links to the exact federal record it came from.

Is this identity verification?

No. We monitor federal filings — we don't verify who answers a phone. Tools like Highway do identity work at 8–90× the price; many brokers run us alongside for the record-level tripwire.

Can't I just check SAFER myself?

For one carrier, absolutely — it's free and you should. For 150 carriers, that's ~10 hours a month of clicking, and a weekly routine still misses a Tuesday lapse until Friday. We check daily and email you the same day.

What won't you do?

We never invent data, score carriers with black-box models, or accuse anyone of fraud. We report what the federal record says, with a link, and tell you when to verify in L&I directly.
